Terms of Use
Effective date: May 18, 2026. Support, policy, App Review, moderation, privacy, and legal questions are received at support@appxora.xyz.
Summary
XORA is an invite-based secure messenger. These terms describe account responsibilities, user-generated content rules, acceptable use, reporting, blocking, safety enforcement, subscriptions, and deletion paths in plain language.
Account responsibilities
You are responsible for protecting credentials, passcodes, recovery phrases, trusted devices, and account access. XORA support will not ask for passwords, private keys, mnemonic phrases, recovery phrases, or verification codes.
User-generated content
You are responsible for messages, groups, Circle content, profiles, invites, attachments, media, and other content you create or share. You retain your rights and grant XORA a limited license to host, transmit, process, store, display, secure, support, and operate that content only as needed to run the service, comply with law, and enforce policies.
Acceptable use
Do not impersonate others, abuse invites, send spam, attack the service, bypass security controls, or use XORA for illegal, deceptive, malicious, infringing, exploitative, harassing, threatening, or harmful activity. XORA has no tolerance for CSAM, exploitation, credible threats, or illegal activity.
Reports and blocking
Users can report abuse or contact support@appxora.xyz. Blocking may limit contact, visibility, notifications, or interaction from another user. XORA may remove content where technically possible, disable invites, restrict accounts, apply rate limits, preserve relevant records, or take other action needed for safety and legal compliance.
See the Moderation Policy for more detail.
End-to-end encryption limits
XORA is designed as a secure messenger. Depending on the feature and build, XORA may not be able to view message plaintext. Moderation may rely on reports, metadata, abuse signals, invite controls, rate limits, client-side evidence voluntarily submitted by a user, and policy-enforcement tools.
AI and model features
AI Summary and translation features may depend on plan, model availability, device capability, and safety review. Optional model packs may be subject to third-party model, runtime, and license terms.
Subscriptions and availability
Some features may require a paid plan, app-store entitlement, model-pack download, or device capability. Before general availability, features may change, be rate-limited, or remain unavailable while safety and compliance review continues.
Termination and deletion
XORA may suspend or restrict accounts to protect users, the service, legal obligations, payment integrity, or abuse-prevention systems. Account deletion can be initiated in the app or through the public Account Deletion page.
Apple Standard License Agreement
For distribution through the Apple App Store, XORA keeps Apple's Standard License Agreement in App Store Connect. These XORA Terms remain a separate public policy on appxora.xyz and in app onboarding/settings links.
